About ABFE
Australian Bush Flower Essences are catalysts that can help with self healing, by helping people to work through and resolve a vast range of negative emotional states and imbalances and to develop intuitive awareness. The rationale behind their use for healing is based on the belief that when emotional balance is restored, true healing takes place; that much physical illness is the end result of emotional imbalance
A detailed consultation is carried out before any essences are prescribed. They are not intended to be used as a substitute for medical treatment, yet can act in a supportive way.
Flower essences have been used throughout this planet by many cultures for millennia to promote healing in body, mind & spirit. European use of flower essences can be traced back to the sixteenth century, although it is very likely that they were in use long before this. In the early twentieth century, Dr Edward Bach, pioneered bringing flower essences back into use.
Australian Aboriginals, also received the benefits from a range of plants. They knew that many flowers could provide healing of emotional imbalances.
The healing essence, in the form of dew potentised by the sun, would be gained by eating the flower, sometimes the whole plant. Various nutritional values were also absorbed.
If the plant was inedible, they would sit amidst the particular flowers to absorb the healing on a purely vibrational way.
Rapid technological developments, environmental crises and the speed at which we receive information and stimulus have all required a shift in our consciousness. Along with the universal emotional issues, which have been common to peoples everywhere for thousands of years, the modern day use of the Australian Bush Flower Essences is very relevant.
They work deeply & quickly, addressing psychological, spiritual & physical states. They act as catalysts, particularly to help people reconnect to their inner teacher and thereby chose right action to heal on all levels not just personally but planetarily.
I am consistently excited and humbled how these essences work with our intuitive selves, which always know what’s right for us.
Consultations & Prescribing with Bernadette
You will be prescribed an essence or mixture of essences. It is important that there is a follow up 2 weeks later to discuss the impact of taking the prescribed essence(s) and any changes that may need to be made to the next prescription.
Thereafter future consultations may be made as each person sees fit, depending on what is being uncovered.
Fees for consultations via Zoom
- Initial consultation & prescription: Average 90mins. You will be sent in advance a detailed form for completion and return, prior to our first session. Usual fees: £70 via Zoom, £60 follow ups – see special introductory offer below
- Follow up plus prescription: You will be sent a follow up form to complete after you have been taking the essence for 2 weeks. This is either to be sent in advance of your second appointment or to send prior to your Zoom appointment

Massage
If you have been prescribed for with an Australian Bush Flower Essence consultation, it is also possible to use the prescription in the various massage therapies that I offer. A few drops will be added to the massage oil.
This can be used in combination with consultations:
- 30 minutes – £40
- 60 minutes – £55
Reiki
Essence cards may also be used during a Reiki treatment. You will intuitively select between 1-5 cards prior to your Reiki treatment and the healing vibration of the flowers will play a part in the treatment, by being placed on or under your body, to connect to principle chakras.
This will not involve an Australian Bush Flower Essence consultation. Available for new or existing Reiki clients.
