About the series

Many women describe the menopausal transition as one of the most powerful and transformative times of their lives. It can be a paradoxical time— energy may rise and fall, sleep can be elusive, emotions may feel heightened — yet alongside the challenges often comes extraordinary clarity, insight, and truth.

As hormones shift, just as they do in adolescence or pregnancy, our entire inner and outer world can begin to change. This time, however, we are moving not into youth, but into wisdom, authority, and embodied power. We become the guides, the advisors, the experienced ones — within our families, workplaces, and communities.

And yet, unlike other rites of passage, menopause is rarely honoured or supported. Many women are expected to “carry on as normal,” often hiding profound physical, emotional, and spiritual changes.

What should be a powerful initiation can instead feel confusing or isolating.

This workshop series offers something different

An opportunity to travel lightly through menopause.

A chance to listen deeply, to be supported, and to consciously engage with this rite of passage — not as a loss, but as a transformative rebirth: a Second Spring.

Through yoga, reflection, shared experience, practical guidance, and compassionate inquiry, we explore how menopause can become a time to release what no longer serves, resolve old emotional patterns, and allow our true selves to emerge with clarity and confidence.

The symptoms of menopause do pass — and when self-acceptance, forgiveness, and understanding are embraced, this phase of life can become profoundly liberating.

🌱 Introductory Session 1: Sunday 22 February 2026

Awakening Awareness: Understanding Your Menopausal Journey

This opening session introduces the menopausal transition as a rite of passage and an opportunity for growth, identifying symptoms and understanding your unique constitution through Ayurveda. We set the foundations for self-inquiry through journalling and sharing, if you choose to, supportive yoga practices to ground and centre.

Dates for the further sessions will be finalised after this Introductory session.

🌿 Session 2: March 2026

Supporting the Physical Body: Nourishment, Balance & Boundaries

Exploring common physical changes such as weight gain, hair loss, and pelvic floor health, alongside nutrition and lifestyle supports. We also look at guilt, responsibilities, and navigating the working environment with greater awareness and self-compassion. All supported by a range of appropriate yoga practices that offer effective practices without force or strain. This session focuses on the physical changes many women experience and how to support the body with kindness.

🔥 Session 3: April 2026

Calming the Nervous System: Sleep, Mood & Emotional Wellbeing Rest, regulation, and resilience

Focusing on symptoms such as anxiety, poor sleep, mood swings, hot flashes, and night sweats. Learn supportive nutritional approaches and yoga practices designed to soothe and cool the nervous system and restore inner equilibrium. Here we turn our attention inward, exploring emotional and nervous system health.

🌸 Session 4: May 2026

Deep Nurturing: Rest, Restore and Receive Self-nurturing and replenishment

An exploration of complementary and supportive therapies. We also address fatigue, aches and pains, and persistent tiredness. This month emphasizes the importance of “me time,” learning how to create space for rest, nourishment, and deep self-care. Restorative yoga practices to bring stillness and peace, both within and without.

🌊 Session 5: June 2026

Transformation: Relationships, Acceptance & Power. Expression, acceptance, and connection

Examining how menopause impacts relationships—with partners, parents, children—and understanding andropause. We explore transformative rage, emotional honesty, and the power of acceptance as a gateway to freedom and healing, supported by stabilising and strengthening yoga practices. This session particularly explores how menopause reshapes relationships both with others and ourselves.

🌺 Session 6: July 2026

Integration & rebirth: Forgiveness, gratitude, and completion.

Our final meeting of the series gives us the space to review, refine and integrate learning, honour our journey, and step forward into this new phase with confidence, clarity, and embodied wisdom.
